  • Content Data: Posts, photos, videos, CVs/Resumes (for Job Mode), comments, messages, and referrals you create or send.
  • Location Data: With your consent, we collect and process precise location data to customize your feed, show nearby users, and provide relevant suggestions.
  • Usage Data: Log data, device information, IP address, browser type, and interaction data (likes, views, clicks).

3. User Content & Sensitive Data

Nikonnect allows users to post various types of content. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a license to use, modify, and display it on the platform.

Sensitive Content Notice: Our platform includes Dating and Religious modes. Information you voluntarily disclose in these areas (e.g., sexual orientation, religious beliefs, relationship status) is considered sensitive. By sharing this, you consent to our processing of this data for matching and feed customization purposes.

CVs & Resumes: If you upload a CV/Resume for Job Mode, this document may contain sensitive employment history. You have full control over whether this is Public or Private.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our services, including matching algorithms for Dating and Job suggestions.
  • To personalize your experience (e.g., showing relevant religious content or business opportunities).

7. Sponsored Content & Promotions

Nikonnect allows users to promote their own posts to reach a wider audience. This helps creators and businesses gain visibility within the community.

First-Party Ads Only

The "Promoted" posts you see in your feed are created by other Nikonnect users, not external advertising companies. We believe in keeping the feed focused on community content.

No Third-Party Trackers

We do not allow third-party advertising networks (like Google AdSense or Facebook Ads) to track your behavior in the app. Your activity stays private.

Targeting & Data

Promoted posts are shown based on relevance to your network or randomly to ensure fair visibility. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and track information and to improve our Service. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data via your Profile Settings.
  • Correction: Update your information at any time via the Edit Profile page.
  • Deletion: You may delete your account at any time. This will permanently remove your profile and associated data.
